SWAT Automotive specializes in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting. Modern vehicles contain complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, computer, and communication systems.
Diagnostic services involve testing and evaluation to identify the cause of a reported problem. The time and procedures required to diagnose a vehicle may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the problem.
Diagnostic fees, when applicable, compensate the shop for the technician's time, training, expertise, equipment, testing procedures, and research required to evaluate the vehicle.
A diagnostic service does not guarantee that every intermittent or unusual problem will be immediately reproducible or identifiable.
Additional testing or diagnostic time may sometimes be necessary.

Additional problems or necessary repairs may become apparent after diagnostic testing, disassembly, or further inspection.

SWAT Automotive is a registered Massachusetts repair facility and provides Massachusetts Vehicle Check inspection services in accordance with applicable state requirements.
Vehicle inspections are performed according to Commonwealth of Massachusetts safety and emissions standards and procedures.
SWAT Automotive cannot guarantee that a vehicle will pass a Massachusetts state inspection.
Inspection results are based on the vehicle's condition and applicable state requirements at the time of inspection.
State inspections end 30 minutes prior to the shop's closing time.
Inspection availability may also be affected by state systems, equipment availability, staffing, or other circumstances outside the reasonable control of SWAT Automotive.
SWAT Automotive may provide pre-purchase inspections for used cars and trucks.
A pre-purchase inspection represents an evaluation of the vehicle's observable condition at the time of inspection and within the scope of the inspection performed.
A pre-purchase inspection cannot guarantee the future reliability, performance, or lifespan of a vehicle and may not identify every hidden, intermittent, or future problem.
Customers remain responsible for making their own purchasing decisions based on the information available to them.
After-hours vehicle drop-off may be available upon request or arrangement with SWAT Automotive.
Customers using an after-hours drop-off option should follow the instructions provided by SWAT Automotive and take reasonable precautions when leaving their vehicle and keys.
Leaving a vehicle at the SWAT Automotive facility does not automatically authorize diagnostic work or repairs beyond any authorization separately provided by the vehicle owner or authorized representative.
Customers should remove valuables and personal belongings from their vehicles before leaving them for service.
Customers are responsible for paying authorized charges associated with diagnostic services, repairs, inspections, parts, labor, and other approved services.
Payment terms and accepted payment methods may be provided at the time services are performed.
Vehicles should be picked up within a reasonable period after customers are notified that service has been completed.
Any policies regarding storage, abandoned vehicles, or unpaid balances will be handled in accordance with applicable agreements and Massachusetts law.
